GoldClean started because our stonemasons kept turning up to restorations where the cleaning had already caused the damage. Tier 1

Biocide Treatment

Targeted biocide applied directly to moss, mould, and biological growth embedded in the stone. It penetrates the pores, kills spores at the source, and takes full effect within about two weeks.

  • Biocide spray applied to all affected surfaces
  • Treats biological growth deep within the stone
Best for

Regular maintenance programmes. A solid first line of defence against the biological decay that speeds up stone deterioration.

Expected outcome

Biological growth dies off over 2–4 weeks as the treatment works through the stone.

Biocide + Hot Water Clean

Everything in Tier 1, then a full drone hot water clean once the biocide has done its work. Two stages. The result is a properly cleaned building or monument, and for the first time, you can see the true condition of the stone and mortar underneath.
